I'm not holding my breath on the outcome of that probe, but it would be preferable that that deal is stopped. I don't care for the COD franchise but flat-out buying huge publishers causes serious unbalance in the industry. Think about it, what if Sony bought Square-Enix, Bandai-Namco, Capcom etc. depriving millions of gamers of all the future Street Fighter or Final Fantasy games? Yeah, I bet the people who are applauding the Xbox-Activision deal would say otherwise.
I just want Real Bout 3 dammit, is it too much to ask? Do I have to make it myself with M.U.G.E.N. or what?
But then again, I don't think M.U.G.E.N. would allow that "Out of Bounds" mechanic to work very well, if at all...
Preposterous. But this gen is gimped anyway, so while they're at it they might as well try and make as much money as possible, or try and lose as little as possible. Microsoft isn't going to follow suit, they can just afford to eat the expenditure.
I'm still staying on my PS4 Pro, and will be for the foreseeable future, it seems.
Serves him right. Even if the money was earned honestly by his parents, some people need to have a reality check and be taught a lesson. Splurging 100.000$ on some microtransactions in some f*ckin' stupid videogame is about as sensible a thing to do as lighting up a banknote to then light up a cigar. I hope he discovers one day the pleasure of being homeless and hungry, is all I have to say.
RoboCop is one of the most unforgettable movie I've ever seen in my life. That ED209 robot scared the living hell out of me when I saw the movie in that campground open-air theater when I was a kid. RoboCop 2 was pretty cool too, but the first one, man, that was special.
I can't believe I'll be missing out on this since for some reason they have decided not to bring it to PS4/Xbox One.
"I'd buy that for a dollar!" :)
"Honourable Mentions
The opening level of Driver on PS1 could similarly make the list. In terms of storytelling and forcing players to adjust to the vehicular handling, it’s near perfect. "
No it couldn't. Absolutely infuriating level.
"The problem lies with the difficulty; many are still stuck in that garage over 20 years later."
LOL, me exactly. It took me dozens of tries before I could make it back th...
I don't doubt for a second that the guy has experience at SNK or that he's talented, but why do the SNK games nowadays, esp. KOF 14 & 15, look nothing like the glorious SNK games of yore?
OlliOlli World – 9
Strange Horticulture – 8
Horizon Forbidden West – 7
Oooh, Sooo edgy!
Bunch of clowns
Maybe but damn, have you seen Horizon Forbidden West on the base PS4, the one that was released end of 2013? You can barely tell the difference with the PS5 version. And the PS5 version looks superb.
I hope Sony know what they're doing with that and have info we don't, cause it sure seems they did to me too. How many studios like Insomniac could that money buy again?
Yeah because, y'know, those people in China or Japan or w/e could take a pi$$ seeing those games being made without them, like Shuhei Yoshida and the people of Tsushima, who are still so disgrunt... err... oh that's right:

"But Sony’s retort in its $3.6bn purchase of former Halo studio Bungie, is a fart in the wind."
I certainly can't afford to fart like that...
OK, good point, I can understand that but, is that expertise really worth 3,6 billion $? I mean, that's pretty steep for not even owning the studio and its 1 IP exclusively, it seems.
Sony must be regretting shutting down Zipper Interactive now. I think MAG could have evolved into something like Destiny, and it wouldn't have cost them that sort of big money.
"First off, I want to be very clear to the community that Bungie will remain an independent and multi-platform studio and publisher."
Hmm... what? What's all that talk about "Bungie is Joining PlayStation" then?
... except if you don't care about Call of Duty or Candy Crush but do care about owning your games in physical form, that is.
If that most unfortunate day was ever to happen, that would be the end of the gaming world, thus the day when I quit being a gamer (aside from playing what will then be deemed old games).
"A huge success"? After spending 75 billion $? How? Do you realize the time it will take to recoup that money? Gamepass is losing money now, and this move certainly won't help...
LOL, you know absolutely nothing of the japanese mind if you think that'll happen.
Wow, never expected the game to look like an early PS3 game... Infamous Second Son smokes GTA VI graphically. The good news for people like me who are still on last gen is that it should also be released on the PS4/XBOX One consoles.
